Just saw two dead food waste (garbage) disposers in two days. Before you burn out any switches, first find and push the reset button, usually a red thing on the bottom or side of the disposer. Then use this $7 crank to lossen the jam...save a day waiting for the plumber, save $200 paying the plumber, and another $200 paying an electrician.
