I first used this rock-hard putty at age 10 in my neighbor's wood shop. I have recommended other putties for different purposes in previous blogs. This stuff can be mixed for different consistencies. It adheres quickly so I could fill in the sides of the 300-year-old mantel piece with loose pieces of wood. The honeycomb of termite damage accepted the putty and made it structurally competent again. Will sand well and cover with regular vinyl spackling.
